This certainly has become a family favorite.  While we were growing up, my mom used to make a variation of this using beef and chinese five spice.  I love it and we have it a lot because it is a tasty dish that cooks itself.  My favorite part has to be the soy sauce eggs, especially after they've been chilled.  If you're feeling daring, it's really good with chinese five spice as well.
