This is the time of year when I start craving all of my favorite Chinese foods (jiaozi, salt and pepper squid, char siu, etc.). That's right, Chinese New Year is coming up, and we are ready to celebrate by eating all of our favorite foods.
This year I want to share the recipes of dishes we love and make all the time. And if I can make them, then I'm sure that you can too!
Any time we have leftover rice we use it to make fried rice the next day. Actually, there have been many times when I've made extra rice just so I will have extra for fried rice. This one's easy and versatile, just make sure you have a really good nonstick skillet and leftover cold rice (yes, it really makes a difference).

I have GOT to try your recipe. We're having a cousin get-together this Saturday, and I volunteered to make fried rice, even though I can't cook Chinese food for the life of me. This looks amazing! :)

I'm excited to try your recipes! I think I'm going to use Chinese New Year as an excuse to try to make Chinese food. Any help I can get would be great! :)
